Statement of Marriage

Whereas, due to the US Supreme Court decision on legalizing same-sex marriage, the
Greensboro Chinese Christian Church (GCCC), according to the rights stated in First
Amendment of the US Constitution, and by the principle of “separation of church and state”
exercised since the founding of the US nation, we hereby declare:

1. Marriage is between one man and one woman, one husband and one wife, and for life.
2. According the Holy Scripture, homosexual sex is a sin, although it is not a crime in the
secular society of today.
3. GCCC shall not in act, or in part, or in providing facility or material support for any
marriage outside of said definition in 1. above.
